We've been so dazzled by the decadent, chocolatey, sugary sweet lots produced by this courageous union of indigenous women producers in the remote highlands of Huehuetenango.
They call themselves, "Mujeres Luchando por un Mejor Futuro" or Women Fighting for a Better Future. These 276 women have built an incredible association, organizing to face existential challenges head-on and create a brighter future for their families. ELLA Todos Santos Huehue embodies their communal resilience and deep devotion.
